How to Upload Photos and Documents in the Asset Inspection Assessment


Purpose

This article provides step-by-step guidance on how to upload photos and documents within the Asset Inspection Assessment module in Asset Intelligence. Adding attachments ensures that inspections are supported with visual evidence and documentation, which improves accuracy and compliance.

Prerequisites

  1. You have the necessary user permissions to access the Asset Inspection application.
  2. The assessment you want to update is already created and available in the list.

Steps to Upload Photos and Documents

1.     Open Asset Intelligence:
   - Navigate to Asset Intelligence group.
   - From the main menu, navigate to Asset Inspection Application.

2.     Select the Assessment:
   - From the list of available assessments, click on the specific Assessment where you want to upload attachments.

3.     Navigate to Photos and Documents Tab:
   - Inside the assessment, go to the Photos and Documents Tab.

4.     Add New Attachment:
   - Click on the Add button.
   - Choose one of the following options:
     • Assign – Link an existing file from the system.
     • New – Upload a new photo or document from your device.

5.     Upload the File:
   - Select the file you want to attach.
   - Click Upload to complete the process.

Outcome

Once uploaded, the selected photos or documents will appear under the Photos and Documents tab of the assessment. They can now be viewed and referenced during inspections, audits, or reviews.

Always upload clear and relevant photos to support inspection findings.
Regularly review attachments to avoid duplication and maintain up-to-date records.
